This is my Barbie tattoo that I had done at Hello Sailor Tattoo studio in Blackpool by Kat Wilson, some have called me mad for it, but for me it represents a time in which the most important decision i would have to make would be what shoes Barbie was going to wear that day. it took around 5-6 hours and bled like a bitch, but was well worth it :)

my newest addition done by Mike Cann at Folk City Tattoo. It’s my straight edge tattoo. There are three x’s carved into the side of the anchor and the anchor represents how my lifestyle has kept me grounded.

My Where the Wild Things Are tattoo done by Clark at The Ink Well in Fairview Heights IL. My favorite book as a kid, forever on display. - http://cuddlingisoptional.tumblr.com

My intention here is not to preach, lecture or anything of the sort. I’m just sharing my tattoo, and why I got it.

This tattoo was done in tribute to the billions of animals killed every year for human consumption, who live their lives knowing literally nothing but pain, sorrow and hopelessness. Animals sitting right now on cold, dirty concrete floors in Factory Farms will never be able to feel the warm sun on their back, the soft grass under their hooves, or express any natural behavior at all. Is a temporary, mostly forgotten meal worth a sentient animal’s forever lifetime? “If we could live happy and healthy lives without harming others… why wouldn’t we?”

If you wanted to find out about the simple, easy changes you can make to save over 100 animal lives every year, fight climate change, and help end world hunger, my ask box is always open!

Done by a really cool dude by the name of Mark Sender, who tattoos out of Green Lotus Tattoo in Melbourne, Australia. Check him out! Thanks Fuckyeahtattoos!

I absolutely adore owls and I figured why not make it a little different than every other owl tattoo, so I added microdermals to his eyes. Tattoo done by Matt Rosenthal at Tattoo Nation in Wayne, NJ. Piercings by Lou Quino at Pleasurable Piercing in Hawthorne, NJ.

ship tattoo…done by Kid Kros http://www.facebook.com/kidkros

In memory of my great grandmother and the country she lived on. Freedom and beauty.

These are my crossed arrows on my left foot.

New Tattoo The bluebird and the text are unrelated, and in a way, are opposites. The bluebird representing a poet/a poem, and the text representing an idea, but both are in relation to the heart and to love and my reactions to these things. The Bluebird The bluebird is a small tribute to one of my favourite poems by Bukowski, and to Bukowski himself (I think he’s wonderful). The Poem: there’s a bluebird in my heart that wants to get out but I’m too tough for him, I say, stay in there, I’m not going to let anybody see you. there’s a bluebird in my heart that wants to get out but I pour whiskey on him and inhale cigarette smoke and the whores and the bartenders and the grocery clerks never know that he’s in there. there’s a bluebird in my heart that wants to get out but I’m too tough for him, I say, stay down, do you want to mess me up? you want to screw up the works? you want to blow my book sales in Europe? there’s a bluebird in my heart that wants to get out but I’m too clever, I only let him out at night sometimes when everybody’s asleep. I say, I know that you’re there, so don’t be sad. then I put him back, but he’s still singing a little in there, I haven’t quite let him die and we sleep together like that with our secret pact and it’s nice enough to make a man weep, but I don’t weep, do you? The Text The text reads ‘The heart is forever inexperienced’. This is really a reminder to myself that in whatever we do, and how ever many times we fall in love, out of love, in love, out of love, the heart never really learns. It is always a child, and in that, it should be forgiven. It’s a reminder to be gentle with it, and that it’s okay to fall. The Idea The bluebird is my heart/holds it/hides it, whilst the text reminds me that it’s okay to let it out sometimes. It’s contrary, because when it comes to love, and loving, you must be both cautious and open. Kudos to Fi from Absolution, what a fucken legend!

This is my biggest tattoo yet so far. Done by Rob Lucy at Body Language in Storrs, CT. If anybody is in the UConn area I highly recommend this guy. I have know him for years and have seen nothing but perfection.

This is my third tattoo. I got the buddha for a few reasons. One is that I really love buddhist values and I try to live those teachings. Another is that my great grandmother used to have a huge buddha in her house because she liked him and it’s something that’s sentimental to my mother and grandmother. So for me it also represents family.

Got this tattoo on my right forearm. Its important to me because my dream is to be a writer one day or a professional artist. Dave Correia is the artist who did the illustration

This is a back piece I have been working on for a few months. Another 12 to 15 hours and it will be completed. The tattoo artist is the Bill Canales, the owner of Full Circle Tattoo in San Diego, CA.

My Monarch Butterfly just after it was finished. done by Abby at Deuce tattoo Rooty Hill. its there to remind me that if something as beautiful as a butterfly only lives for one day, we should appreciate every moment we have.

My Aunt designed the Tribal and tattooed it. It definitely needs to be touched up. And the rose? I’ve always admired the “traditional” rose tattoo. Twitter: @antqdo

This picture was taken right after I got it done so the blood is still pretty visible. I got this tattoo on my forearm in memorial of my grandma who passed away in May. The flower in the hair is a flower that was on a necklace of hers that I had bought for her when I was around 10 years old. I never saw a day where she wasn’t wearing it. She was one of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of being around, and I love having this as a little reminder of the amazing person she was. :)

Progress, first session. Done by Jim Warf at Elizabeth Street Tattoo in Riverside.

Swampy inspired piece. Done by Jim Warf at Elizabeth Street Tattoo in Riverside California. www.jimordie.com

Zombie tattoo, back of my left thigh. Taken just after the colour was finished, took 5 hours…painful. Always wanted one, but didn’t ever know what/how to get her…if it’s gonna be something that I’ve gotta live with forever, might as well get someone that looks/is amazing….So I went with Hayley Williams. Some may love it, some may not. I think it’s amazing and can’t wait to get another one on my right thigh… Done by Brownie at Glory Bound Tattoos, Exmouth, Devon.

This is the mockingjay from the book series The Hunger Games. I am on the right, my best friend is on the left. We got matching tattoos to represent our friendship, along with our love for the book series. In the books, the mockingjay stands as a symbol for rebellion to the capitol, and they are described as being as tough as rocks, and being able to thrive in almost any environment. We got these done by Velma at Forbidden School of Body Art in Portland, Oregon. We have been friends for years and she has inspired my future career. I cant imagine going to anyone else. for becca on the left: http://ninjaqueerdo.tumblr.com/ for me on the right: http://fightoffyourdemons.tumblr.com

My Triforce done by Needlefak Tattooing Hamburg. You love Zelda and spent your childhood with it? Then you gotta love this as much as I do.

Ever since I was little, my dad would always play me his guitar. Since I grew up on the Beatles i was also a John Lennon fan, and as you can tell by my tattoo that was my favorite song by him. He would sing it and play it for me and whatnot. For my birthday, I got this, and it just so happens that December 8th, like my birthday, is also a day to remember his death in 1980. Happy birthday.

My original idea and his original sketch. Nick Harrison at Blue Bryd Tattoo in Dayon, Ohio.

My latest addition in honor of my wonderful mother and the relationship that my sister and I share with her. I’m grateful to have such an amazing bond with my mother and I am proud to wear proof of it for all the world to see. “Momma loves.” and I love you too, Momma. Done by Lacey Burnette at Vintage Tattoo Co. in Ocean Springs, MS. Amazing artist, friend, roommate, and co-worker. I’m very happy to finally have a piece from her.
